Absolute Rehabilitation Helps Track ADL's
Absolute Rehabilitation has upgraded our exclusive software package to include ADL tracking for MDS completion. Absolute Rehabilitation already provides excellent clinical and fiscal outcomes, and this new capability will prompt Absolute therapists to input data on bed mobility, transfers, eating, and toilet use. This important information will be an adjunct to current ADL documentation program and will provide a more accurate reflection of all the services provided at your facility. Achieve the appropriate reimbursement by capturing these additional services with this new software upgrade!
Contract for Quality and Value
Provider Purchasing Group (PPG) continues to develop contracts for a variety of products used in long term care facilities. Absolute Pharmacy Goes Paperless
To improve the level of service to our customers, we have created a new paperless workflow system.
This advanced new document management system will store faxed orders electronically, and will allow faxes to be enlarged for accurate review. These documents will be linked to the pharmacy operating system to allow our associates to instantly retrieve information and answer customer questions immediately. In addition, an electronic call log has been created to track conversations with facility nurses, to provide quick and accurate response to customer needs.
The new paperless technology is designed to provide much more efficient information management and faster response times – to help make our superior service even better.
Therapy Manager Earns Certification
Absolute Therapy Regional Manager, Jason Musni, has been certified as a Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). He is now one of 845 physical therapists certified in geriatrics in the United States, and one of 27 physical therapists certified in geriatrics in the State of Ohio.
This certification was earned by meeting approved requirements in one or more of the following specialty areas: Cardiovascular & Pulmonary, Clinical Electrophysiology, Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics and Sports Physical Therapy. To obtain board certification, candidates must submit evidence of required clinical practice in a specialty area, and successfully complete a rigorous written examination, and demonstrate specialized knowledge and advanced clinical proficiency in a specialty area of physical therapy practice.
Two New Programs from Absolute Skilled Home Health
Absolute Skilled Home Health continues to seek new ways to ensure our patients receive quality care and are able to stay independent in their homes. The Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) program is designed to educate patients diagnosed with CHF on proper diet, exercise and emergency procedures. The program is spread over a 60-day period with supervision and follow up from our staff.
A new Falls Risk Assessment program is targeted for residents of Assisted and Independent Living facilities. Absolute sends a registered nurse out to a facility to complete a survey with the resident. If the resident meets the criteria, Absolute will communicate the concern to the patient's physician, and approved therapy will begin. Absolute continues to strive for quality — that is what sets us apart.

Nurse Aide Training Program Expands in Stark County
Due to the popularity of the Absolute Nurse Aide Training Program, a new training center has been established on 30th Street in Canton. The new location is conveniently located just east of Cleveland Avenue and is accessible to bus transportation.
Absolute's Nurse Aide Training provides excellent preparation for a high-demand career, and the program has a student graduation rate that consistently exceeds 90%.
